Join International artist Parham Ghalamdar for a series of 3 creative workshops, inspired by the National Year of Reading. Together, you’re invited to collaborate with Parham on a new artwork ‘Subtitles for a Film That Does Not Yet Exist’.

At these workshops, collective reading becomes filmmaking. At this session, working from the subtitles generated at workshop 1, you’re invited to challenge what meaning, edit, and change the prompts. Through different understandings and visible edits, we will trace how meaning travels and transforms. Working in collaboration, we’ll make small transformations that show your thinking rather than hide it. Here, crossings‑out and changes are not mistakes — they’re part of the artwork.

Across 90 minutes, you’ll choose a line that speaks to you (or irritates you) and collaborate to transform it. Together, we’ll create new possibilities: a reminder that every sentence has many lives, and every edit leaves a trace worth keeping.
