A reading community for anybody & everybody.

Reading is a personal act, something we tend to do alone. As we all have different life experiences, we may each take something different away from what we’ve read. Join us to meet new people, relax, socialise, share your thoughts, and learn from each other.

Stockroom Book Club’s first read of 2026 is Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng. "Little Fires Everywhere explores the weight of secrets, the nature of art and identity, and the ferocious pull of motherhood--and the danger of believing that following the rules can avert disaster."

The Stockroom Book Club will meet in the Stockroom Living Room on Thursday 29th January. Get cosy from 17:00, with book chat starting at 17:30 and running until 19:00 (or earlier if the conversation comes to a natural close). It’s a relaxed, welcoming space to share perspectives and truly listen to one another, without judgement.
