LGBT+ History Month: Archiving Your Queer Histories
Saturday 14 February 2026 - From 12:00pm
Saturday 14th February | 12pm - 4pm
Stockroom, Living Room
As part of LGBT+ History Month at Stockroom, we would like to collect memories and stories from anyone who identifies as a part of the LGBTQIA+ community with a connection to Stockport.
Throughout 2025, young people from Constellations a group run by The Proud Trust have been working with Stockroom and Stockport’s Local History Library to explore Stockport’s LGBT+ Heritage.
While we work to create LGBTQIA+ Histories in the Making, the group has also identified missing stories from Stockport’s LGBTQIA+ past. We want to create a more well-rounded collection of Stockport’s LGBT+ past by inviting you to share your stories!
Bring your own images, memories, objects and stories and join us for a welcoming session of cross-generational conversation and collecting.
